Foreword
A warm welcome to York Lodge No.236 whether you
are a Freemason or just interested in the history of Freemasonry in York or its many
fine buildings.
I am sure that you will discover that our Lodge history and the fine,
purpose built Masonic building where we meet will be of interest to you.
York Lodge
welcomes Masonic visitors to its meetings each month, and members of the public can
also visit the building by prior appointment.
Information on times of meetings can
be found within the Lodge Calendar, and public viewings can be arranged via the Charity
Trustees.
Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies and York Lodge
No. 236 is steeped in Masonic history.
