Prospective new members are welcome and further information can be obtained from our Lodge Secretary.

Freemasonry has been operated in York Lodge since 1777, and from our current building since 1863, and we look forward to continuing the traditions of our forbears into the future.

A warm welcome to York Lodge No.236 whether you are a Freemason or just interested in the history of Freemasonry in York or its many fine buildings.

I am sure that you will discover that our Lodge history and the fine, purpose built Masonic building where we meet will be of interest to you.
